Why do people keep buying call of duty
Black Ops Cold War launched with 29 weapons including sidearms. The game only features eight maps for core game modes, and two that are exclusive to a single mode. Rather than releasing a full-blown multiplayer sequel every year, complete with new mechanics and a revamped collection of weapons and maps, why not create a solid base, then add content in the exact same way that Warzone has?
For years the arguments for Call of Duty sequels seemed to be that it was difficult to keep players interested in multiplayer after a long period of time without releasing a new game.
Games like Fortnite and League of Legends have had no trouble keeping players, and even growing thanks to steady updates, and the past eight months have proven that Warzone can do the same for Call of Duty. But this is an issue that Black Ops Cold War has actually already solved on its own.
Black Ops Cold War will borrow the extremely popular seasons format that Warzone has been using all year, but with an added twist. This means that players will have new levels to earn every few months, rather than every year with the release of a new game.
The mode is fast-paced, fun, and filled with secrets to uncover and puzzles to solve. My main issue with it now is not that any one of these new modes is subpar, but that they all feel like the disjointed limbs of a Frankenstein video game. Black Ops Cold War is overflowing with content and covers seven distinct console hardware types, a PC version, and a battle royale, all of it taking up more storage space than pretty much any other game in history.
This is supposed to be freeing — play the new Call of Duty on any platform with any of your friends and only the game types you enjoy. And to a large extent, the cross-gen and cross-platform functions work well and Activision should be applauded for the sheer complexity of the technical feat it pulled off weaving this all together. A planned Warzone update next month is scheduled to merge the battle royale with Black Ops Cold War , which may not go as smoothly.

Nope, he lied to me yet again and bought the game. As a reviewer, I got a chance to review the PlayStation 4 system. I was able to borrow the console for a short while and one of the games I got to play included Call of Duty: Ghosts.
I only played the game for a short while since I was reviewing the system and not the game itself. My brother played Ghosts on PS4 too and thought it looked okay, but was nothing special.
My assumption was wrong because just a few weeks later, he decides to buy Call of Duty: Ghosts on PS3! Graphically the series has not changed and the gameplay is all the same too.
