When is hostel 3 coming out
The second season consists of 4 episodes with a runtime of approximately 30 minutes each. However, given the popularity of the series, a third season is a strong possibility.
Although the second season does not end on a cliffhanger like the first season, it does leave room open for more stories at the National Advanced Technical Training Institute NATTI campus. Therefore, if the second season of the comedy-drama manages to meet the viewership expectations of the network, the makers could receive the go-ahead for a third season in the coming months. For the potential third season, we expect all the main cast members to reprise their respective roles.

Gone is director Eli Roth, the desolate European location and a major theatrical release, but that didn't stop Sony Pictures from developing a third entry in the semi-successful but uber-popular Hostel series.
Ingeniously titled Hostel Part III, the terror comes to America with a setting in none other than Sin City itself — Las Vegas, where a group of guys get together for a bachelor party only to have their week-end fun interrupted by events of torture and extreme misfortune at the hands of the Elite Hunting Club.
The 'fun' begins when one of the four bachelor party friends is abducted from an out-of-control party. He is taken to some remote yet high class facility that has state-of-the-art torture rooms equipped with classy looking tables and display walls filled with random torturing tools. Outside the room watching behind a large glass pane are a group of high class business men and women who use hi-tech betting equipment to play 'Wheel of Misfortune' — a gambling game where they can bet on everything such as what a tortured individual might yell out when at the height of their pain.
Meanwhile, the remaining friends begin a desperate search to find their missing companion. A search that will land them in the same torture room subjected to the gruesome effects of the sadistic game. The new setting might bring the series into a more modern world, but it was the dark, dungy backdrop of Slovakia that made Hostel that much more frighteningly believable.
Screenwriters attempted to fill Hostel III with rudimentary twists in an attempt to try and out-smart their audience, but they were generally unnecessary and hardly OMG material. Couple that with some extremely unfunny lines "Is this a joke? Of course, billed as a horror film, it is the torture or torture porn and bloodletting that will make or break the film with franchise fans and Hostel III can't hold a candle to the two Roth installments. Even with a state-of-the-art torture facility, the kills are truly uninspired and lacking in any true 'I can't watch' scenes of extremedom I just made that word up.
And nudity? With an opening scene that did nothing more than offer a chuckle to an ending that was just plain stupid, Hostel III proves that the franchise is now dead and those that have been tortured the most are us saps that paid money to soothe our curiosity with Part III.
FAQ 1. What is the song during the main event? Details Edit. Release date December 27, United States. The film has not seen a theatrical release, instead given a low key debut on home video to little fanfare. I remember going to see the first Hostel film. I was visiting New York and was desperate to see it, as the UK release was still a couple of months off. The film had already been out in America for a few weeks, so the cinema was less than crowded.
I noted a man in his mid-to-late 20s who, thanks to American film certification rules, was able to bring his toddler son to the cinema to see the film. Even before seeing the film and knowing the extent of the violence and gore, I questioned the wisdom in that decision. Ad — content continues below. I was already a fan of writer director Eli Roth by this point, having been very taken with his debut film Cabin Fever, and was very impressed by Hostel.
Where Cabin Fever had been great fun, though, Hostel was a more grown-up, troubling film. Hostel tells the tale of two young Americans travelling through Europe who end up being lured into the possession of Elite Hunting, a company who sell them on as murder victims to the cruel and curious.
Of course, the Saw franchise was establishing itself as a yearly event, with a new film released every Halloween. This meant that very little was necessary to sell them — people knew what to expect, and they knew when they were going to be out the same strategy is currently being aped by the Paranormal Activity franchise — a series even cheaper to produce. But, despite some similarities, Hostel is actually quite different from Saw.
So when Hostel: Part II was released only 18 months later, again written and directed by Roth, there was cause for concern.
Get the best of Den of Geek delivered right to your inbox! What I can remember is how disappointed I felt. Hostel: Part II expands the Elite Hunting organisation shown in the first movie to a level that almost implies a global conspiracy.
